We sometimes use unpaid amateur models for experimental work. If you are interested, please contact us and we will be in touch when an opportunity arises.

What's in it for us?

Most of our work is based on taking "safe" photographs. A client's wedding is not the place to experiment with new poses, camera angles, equipment or lighting. We do however constantly strive to innovate and improve our photographic techniques, experiment with new equipment and work on competition and qualification photographs. Using amateur models gives us the opportunity to try things out to the benefit of both ourselves and the model.

What do we require from you?

• You don't need any experience.
• You can be any size, shape, age, colour and gender. Our clients are real people, so our models can be real people too.
• We need singles, couples and families.
• You should be reliable and patient, we may shoot the same photo many times to get the pose, expression and lighting right.
• You should be easy going and relaxed, not too concerned about striking a pose in public.
• You should turn up properly prepared for the shoot. We will discuss what the type of shoot will be and the kind of clothing / shoes / colours / makeup / accessories / hair / nails would be appropriate for it.
• You must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under 16 years of age.
• If you are coming for a solo model shoot, you may bring a friend if you wish. 

Where will the shoot take place?

We're based near Worthing, so - East or West Sussex, further afield on occasion. We can usually arrange to collect and return you to home. It's likely to be on location, most of our work is location not studio based. A hotel or country house, the beach, a park, the south downs, in a town or city, if you have any ideas for interesting or unusual locations we'd be pleased to hear them. Maybe you work somewhere interesting that the public doesn't usually have access to and you could arrange for us to do a photo shoot there and we could compensate the owners with some photos for publicity use?

When will it be?

No idea. It's something we fit in between paid work and will contact you to arrange a mutually agreeable date or time. You should expect the shoot to take about 2 hours although it could be longer on occasion.
